The idea for ASILINI emerged after its founder moved from Tanzania to Europe and began to see Africa through a different perspective. 
Living abroad revealed how little of Africa’s creative richness was visible to many people. Yet beyond the familiar narratives existed a continent filled with beauty, innovation, craftsmanship, and artistic excellence. 
ASILINI was created to share that story. 
Not as a trend. 
Not as nostalgia. 
But as a source of timeless inspiration and contemporary design. 
We believe African creativity belongs on the world stage not because of where it comes from, but because of the excellence it brings.

throughout Africa. Through curated wall pieces, sculptural forms, and thoughtfully crafted objects,
we celebrate the people, landscapes, traditions, and artistry that continue to inspire us.
